1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow websites to remember your preferences and session state across page loads. WisdomChat uses cookies minimally — only what is necessary to operate the platform.
2. Cookies Used by WisdomChat Dashboard
When you log into the WisdomChat dashboard (app.wisdomchat.ai or your custom domain), we set the following cookies:

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) in the WisdomChat dashboard.
3. Cookies Set by the Chat Widget on Merchant Storefronts
When the WisdomChat widget is embedded on a Shopify store, it sets the following in the end-customer's browser:

This identifier is anonymous — it does not contain your name, email, or any identifying information. It is used only to link messages in a single browsing session to the same conversation.
Note for Shopify merchants: If you use WisdomChat on your storefront, you should disclose the use of this storage in your own store's cookie/privacy policy and, where required by law, obtain consent from your customers before the widget loads.
4. What We Do NOT Use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel)
- No cross-site tracking
- No fingerprinting technologies
5. How to Control Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Clearing cookies will log you out of the WisdomChat dashboard and reset the anonymous visitor ID on any storefront you have visited.

Note: disabling the token cookie will prevent you from staying logged in to the WisdomChat dashboard.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new features that use cookies. Changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the dashboard.
